First day in his compression singlet, my 5 year old with ASD and ADHD was settled. His teachers, OT, Psychologist and Speech Therapist all see a huge difference. He is not as impulsive, he's sitting for longer, able to focus and participating in class. Over 14 years ago, I created what would become the first JettProof Sensory Compression Singlet for my own son, Jett. Like many children with sensory processing differences, he struggled with clothing; seams, labels, textures, and uncomfortable fabrics could make everyday activities feel overwhelming and unpredictable.
When he was every diagnosed with Autism and sensory processing disorder, we had a lot of new terms, but not a lot of support.
